Thanks for your willingness to support the Sophienburg Museum & Archives through our Wurstfest booth fundraising! The time you give in this booth allows the Sophienburg to keep telling the real stories of New Braunfels.
During Wurstfest, this is a fast-paced, always on your feet, customer-service-focused volunteer opportunity that suits those who love engaging with people. We'll help locals and visitors alike find their perfect hat, stein, or token of New Braunfels. Comfort with technology is important as we'll use the Clover point of sale to raise funds.
We appreciate all volunteers' willingness to attend orientation, even if you have volunteered with us before. Please see November 1st and 4th for sign ups. There are several ways to participate and we hope you'll glean new things each year! Once Wurstfest is upon us, there is not time to train a volunteer upon arrival at the booth. Admission tickets will be distributed during the orientation.
Leading up to the event, volunteer opportunities involve movement and organization.
Individuals must sign up for themselves OR have the contact information for their friends to allow the Sophienburg contact with each individual.
